Help! I'M LOST...at Wal-Mart.

First things first--I'm glad that I made you laugh, Missy! And I'm glad that you think I'm funny, Annie Laurie.

Ok, about Wal-Mart. I wasn't exactly lost...It really depends on your definition of "lost." If lost means that you don't know where you are, then, no, I wasn't lost. If lost means that you don't know where THINGS are, then, yes, I was lost. It is like this--our local Wal-Mart is moving things, in particular, clothes, around. The pharmacy is different, and where the candy used to be, there is now jewelry. But the clothes--THEY are MOVED! Where the men's clothes were, now the woman's and girl's clothes are there. I'm not sure what they are doing with the where the women's clothes used to be. The men's clothes are where the girls' clothes used to be. The boys' clothes are still where they are supposed to be...I think.

We TRIED to go dress shopping...no go. There was nothing I liked, and nothing that fit Sister1 that was well liked.

Well, that leaves us with the important question: Where did the candy go?

Something, Dress Shopping, 7, 83, Something, and Rice.

Something--*WARNING* This post will NOT be about the play last night.

:-)

Dress shopping--Futile!! Tried on two dresses (both ones that didn't fit Sarah) and didn't particulary like either for reasons...well, one, I wasn't sure that I liked or fit, and the other...ask if you want to know! :-) We were at the mall that we went to see both ROTK and TTT at (Vinca and Annie Laurie, it is the mall that we saw Episode II at) since we had dentist appoinments. At one of the stores, we wandered into the Juniors department (bleah!) and came upon a garden of leftover prom dresses. I am not kidding. They looked oh, so similar and oh, so different. Sister 1 might be able to explain better.

7--Number of cds Sister1 and I listened to today! A new record!

83--How old Christopher Lee turned today.

Something--Summer intern is here! :-)

Rice--Sister1 and I attempted to make it. We actually made chicken and brocolli and then rice, but... We poured the water and rice together, and THEN realized we were only supposed to put the rice in AFTER the water had boiled. :-( So, we drained the water into a clean measuring cup and then scooped out the (wet!) rice into another clean measuring cup. Next, we poured the water into the pot, got it boiling, and then added the rice. *sigh*

Remember: Always read the instructions, and when you don't, improvise!

Just stuff.

Hi, Missy!! How did you get to my blog (just out of curiousity)?

Following Samwise...with the name thing. Except, I only remember what M and A stand for. I was pleased with M, not so with A. M-Moral. A-Alluring. I forgot the rest. *sigh*

Here is a link to a Narnia website. You all might already have it, but...

http://www.narniaweb.com/

There is a photo gallery, personality quiz, costume site, and more. Perv, I don't know if your friend has finished her dress or if she has already seen this, but here is the link to the page about Susan's archery dress.

http://costumes.narniaweb.com/sugrnarchery.asp#gifts

On the personality quiz, I got Shasta.

Ok, so let me know what you think!

Make sure to put the hyphens in!

I tried going to http://www.emerald-sea.blogspot.com/ but, unfortuanately for me, I forgot to put the hyphen in. Always, ALWAYS put the hyphen in!! I landed on some weird blog, which, fortuanately, I could tell from the format was NOT Annie Laurie's. Why did I have to type it in? Because I am using some sort of new, updated internet and I have to type things in the first time.

:-(

Oh, and I tried going to the Queen and the soldier, and I even put the hyphens in, but...I forgot the "the." So, always put the "the" in!!

Alothe's worked just fine (I still have her email with the web address).

But, alas alack, Samwise's JUST would NOT work!

I guess I'll have to try later...

That historic event...

was...I got my braces off!!! YAY!!! I probably totally humiliated myself by gagging and trying to spit out the nasty gook that they stuck in my mouth to get impressions. One of the technicians helped me get through..."Move your feet in circles. Good! Now the other way...." Like I said, humiliating. But it worked!!!

What pretty pictures, Annie Laurie?

I typed up the ENTIRE Part 6 of my notebook today... Phew! That's over with. Except, NOW I have to do Part 7. Drat.

I'm almost done with my history course! YAY!!!! I have a test tomorrow...and then....HOME FREE!!! Pretty much.

Finished Biology today. YES!!

:-)

Sent in my intro paragraph to my Lit teacher.

Another YES!!!!

:-)

Like, I didn't say, pretty good day.

Hehehehe...

Sorry...this entire blogpost has had NO point what-so-ever.

Sorry.

On a higher note...umm...I only have an essay (ONLY?!!!) to write.

*tries to smile and does REALLY, REALLY lousy job*

I'll be going now.

Well...

Nobody new on.

Monday was a historic event! So was Wednesday, but not quite so historic.

What happened? Well, haha, that is for me to know and me to find out.

Don't worry...when my friends (who are really the only ones who read this, anyway...rather depressing NOT really, because I don't know who else would read it, unless it was someone off of Perv's ZANGA [hahahahaha] blog...anyway) have found out, then I will say.

:-)

I'm kind of bored.

Does anybody know how to let people go ALL the way back to my first blog post?

I think I'll go now.

Well, for those who care...

Geoffrey Rush is officially signed up for Pirates 2 as, surprise! surprise!, Barbossa. Apparently, he didn't die after all.

I am bored...

Let us see... Friday night, a man from England came over. He is in the U.S. because of work, and my dad invited him over. Turns out he can play the mandolin, so we got out our old one. He did played EXTREMEKY well, not hampered by the fact the mandolin only six strings, not eight, and that there swa no pick, and he had to get by with something that you use to scrape our baking stone with. He also played our guitar. :-)

Today...

is the tenth of May. It is Mother's Day in Mexico (or so my calender informs me).

Sister-1 said I should say this, when I asked her what I should say. So, here goes:

For all you Pirates fanatics out there...I MEAN, for all you who have seen the first movie and are interested in it enough to care, for Pirates 2, there is some listed down as, I kid you not, "Will Turner's Arresting Officer." HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

:-)

Other than that, I have nothing interesting to say.

:-)

Monday, May 09, 2005

Hmm...

Let us see...

What did I do today?

I took a Biology test.
I did an Algebra lesson.
I took a History quiz.

I did more stuff, too.

:-)

Like?

Sister-1 and I sang Psalms while we cleaned up the kitchen. Sister-2 joined in, too, but that was mostly because we had her turn the pages on the Psalter for us.

:-)

Timer went off.

Arrghh....

On the down side...
-One of my email acounts is down. That might not be so bad, but I'm hoping that I have an email on it.
-I'm not feeling well. The thermometer says no fever, but I'm coughing and was wheezing earlier.
-I decided to stay home (because of the above reason) and therefore, did not see the music recital.
-I didn't go to the library (because of same thing as above).
-I know that some people (ahem) have been on, and yet, have not been here! *Hint* *Hint*

On the up side...
-I got to see Signs.
-I'm on the internet.
-Sister-1 got me a book from the library that hasn't been in before.
-Ummm....

:-)

Something from my cousin

This is something I got from my cousin. It IS really neat!
__________________________
Your Age by Chocolate Math
This is pretty neat! Check it out....

YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATH
DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute....... Work this out as you
read..
1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that
you would like to have chocolate. (more than once but
less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (Just to be bold)

3. Add 5. (for Sunday)

4.. Multiply it by 50 ...I'll wait while you get the
calculator.............

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add
1755....

If you haven't, add 1754 ......

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number .... do ya?

The first digit of this was your original number (i.e.,
how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are ........

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2005) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO
SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS.

I had forgotten...

I changed my picture! I was actually looking for the picture of the kids (don't remember their names) and the uncle (don't remember his name, either) sitting on teh couch wearing tin foil caps, but, alas...I could not find it. Drat.

Ok, I'm going to get a brownie now. Yum...

Yeah, good. Better with thin mint ice cream, but no can do.

I guess I probably should ask Sister-1 what she is laughing about...be right back.

Just laughing about an article about Star Wars that she was reading. I started reading over her shoulder and discovered that I had already read it. A while ago. *Sigh*

Graces...

No, not us. It is the name of a game we played after Bible Study. It involves a hoop and sticks. The object of the game is to toss the hoop back and forth with the other players, catching and throwing the hoop with the sticks. Why did we play it? We were talking after Bible Study and Boromir told us that he had been playing Graces and had caught the (rather fragile) wooden hoop and accidently crushed it. Fortuantely, he had managed to fix it with tape (we asked him what type, joking that it was duct [duck--quack, quack!] tape, but he said that he had used electrical [nice, black stuff]). Boromir informed us that it was in the car, so (naturally, of course) we filed out to see it. Who were we? Why, Merry, Sister-1, Aragorn, Estella, Boromir, and I. Aragorn got it out off the car, and he and Boromir picked up sticks (actually Aragorn didn't use a stick for a little bit) and started tossing it around. The rest of us (a.k.a. the girls) stood around and cheered. After a little bit, Merry and then Estella picked up sticks and started in. Soon after, Merry and Estella had to leave; so Sister-1 and I filled in their places. Then, we decided to move out from under the trees, and into the open part by the hill. All too soon, Aragorn and Boromir had to leave, taking with them the hoop. *Sigh*

:-)

Hope you liked it!

Hm...Oh...Last Night...

...was my first time since I'd gotten a blog, that I had not posted when I was on the internet. I kind of ran out of time.

:-)

Tonight...went to Sister 2 and 3's choir recital. It was interesting. Nice music, didn't understand some of the words...

I believe I have gotten some sort of nasty cold bug. My mom says that or allergies. I hold firmly to the belief that I don't have ANY allergies. :-) Anyway--is that two words or one?-- I shall now describe it to you, so that you can pity, nay, sympathize (s or z?) with me. My nose is stuffed up and slightly runny, I have been doing some sort of weird cross between a sneeze and a cough (ok...like only once, but...), I have a cough, have stopped sneezing so much, my throat is slightly sore. Everything is better IF I take my medicine...I think.

:-)
