My parents were driving home from a store (having left me in charge here), and the deer ran into the car, leaving several dents (one really big).

It just walked away, so, as I said before, the deer seemed fine.

We got hungry.

Do you know how much food there is back there?

Cake mixes, cans of soup, oatmeal, cereal, hot chocolate, popcorn, almost anything and everything that you can think of, oh, and last but CERTAINLY NOT least, candy.

Oh, and there is a microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, can opener, toaster, and running water from the sink.

Dishes too.

You know, we could live there a loooooong time if we needed to, if only it had...

My mom made tuna salad for dinner. Well, for her and my dad. Us girls had mac and cheese.

Well, Sister1 had a little bit of salad, too. She thought that something tasted different.

My mom thought that maybe something was missing.

It wasn't until a while after she was done, that my mom realized what it was missing.

Art

My life is settling into a schedule - sort of.

Chemistry starts on Monday.

There goes my schedule.

Well, I'm almost done with my first art book.

It is an art appreciation book.

Not a coloring one.

It is by Gene Edward Veith.

It is called State of the Arts. It was written in 1991.

I read the chapter on Art and the Church today.

He describes a "Hyper-Calvinist church" he once visited. I wish you could read the chapter, but I REALLY don't want to type it up!

It has an extreme lack of decoration. No pews (just folding chairs), no paintings, no carpet, no wallpaper, no choir or organ or piano, no stained glass windows.

"Instead of the usual hymn-book, there was a book of psalms set to music." (198)

Sound familar?

"The Calvinist church I visited sang only psalms, instead of hymns of merely human origin." (198)

It was definately an RP church.

But, before you get too excited, remember the publishing date.
