Gone Fishing

Today I took a net down to the pond and went fishing.

Now, you're probably wondering, since when did I fish with a net?

Since this last storm.

Now, this wasn't your ordinary fishing trip. For one thing, I had no bait. For another, I was really fishing for fish.

Yep, I was fishing for garbage.

Here's what's surfaced:

One shoe. It issmall and white.

One can of spray on starch. Don't ask me what it's for, for I don't know.

One glass jar, complete with lid. AND full of water.

One yellow plastic jug of Prestone II. All I know is that it goes in your car.

Washed up (or not), I found a green plastic lid.

And, on the bank, I found a small white bottle of developing lotion. It's for your hair. Enscribed on the bottle was this message:

IMPORTANT

SNIP TIP BEFORE ADDING CLAIRESSE HAIRCOLOR TO DEVELOPER LOTION. DISCARD ANY UNUSED MIXTURE AS STORAGE MAY CAUSE THIS APPLICATOR TO BURST.

Now, my question is, is that spontaneous combustion bursting or not?

There's been a general lack of updates recently...

Nobody seems to be on much anymore. So, maybe if I make a post the rest of you will? :-)

Today, I helped out with the sixth grade class in math. Didn't embarrass Sister3 too much, so that was good. :-) I actually enjoyed myself, despite not having a lot to do. That will probably change, though.

Did you know that they've come up with new covers for the Narnia books? The pictures are kind of small, but they look cool.

I'm almost done with school for this semester, so that's exciting. I know some of you (lucky dogs!) are already finished. :-)
