:-)

Cecile, Alothe.

I was kind of possible leaning towards that, Telepomus.

Yeah, interesting, Annie Laurie.

Narnia DVD comes out April 4th!! http://www.narniaweb.com/news.asp?id=780&dl=8334300

I have a dilemma. The Heritage Association for our state offers a two hour test on the history and geography of our state. If you do well enough you can get up to 1,000 dollar scholarship and its open to 9th through 12th graders. I want to take it. The dilemma?

It's April 1st.

No, I have nothing against taking tests on April Fools, but that's when Robotics and the retreat are. And I can't even do two of those. But I really only want to do two of those.

See my dilemma?

Anyway, check these out.

Cool, no?

Okay, and one more...to the entire page.

Hem. Sorry.

I've started a new book. It's interesting.

I thought it was all about one character, but that one one character has only come up in one chapter so far.

Going now.

Various things.

Glad you all figured it out.

:-)

You, know, I was thinking about The Village and wondering why pink was allowed when red wasn't. Then I remebered that pink represents innocence.

:-)

Lucius means "light" or "white". Interesting, no?

The Girls Book Club is meeting at our house tonight. I helped Sisters 2 and 3 with their hair.

I curled it.

:-)

Now, I'm in the mudroom, on the computer with Sister4 and Christine playing behind me.

:-)

The Lighthouse's Tale is playing now.

Nothing much...again.

Aaw...

Nobody recgonizes her?

Maybe better from this angle...

Now do you?

:-)

I did school today.

How about you all?

What was your day like?

As I was leaving the Christian School today, a girl said "Bye, ---(my name)---." I was really surprised considering that I don't know who she is and have never spoken to her. I guess everybody knows me, though.

:-)

Going out to sing Psalms now.

Nothing much

I took a chemistry test today.

But, moving on to happier things...

I worked on Algebra and history.

I had Geometry off today (look at your calender).

I read some more of Lord Peter today.

Ok, moving on.

Tomorrow I'm going to the local vo tech for Tech Fair. I'm going with my Geometry class. I have to be there at 8:20.

:-0

Wow. Something besides a smiley face!

But, I still refuse to give up the noses!

:-)

So how is life for everybody else?

I hope the picture comes up...

Panera was fine, Alothe.

The university library doesn't have any books by Gaston Leroux besides The Phantom of the Opera.

Drat.

They do, however, have a lot of books by Rosemary Sutcliff, just like you said, Alothe.

All I have to do now is to get my dad to take me there.

:-)

Hehe. It's almost my bed time.

I guess I'll go now.

:-)

"It's not that I'm sentimental. It's just that I'm terrified!"

:-)

Fiddler on the Roof.

"Every eight seconds a baby is born, every twelve someone dies, and every thirty-one sconds an illegal immigrant arrives."

So said the lady on the news (she said it about America).

:-)

Sisters2 and 3 had a choir rehearsel/concert tonight.

:-)

I went to Panera for the first time today.

:-)

I had a bagel and split a hot chocolate with Sister4.

:-)

Did I just set a pattern?

:-)

Well, since I set it, I might as well finish it.

:-)

Ok, I'll go now.

I've made contact!

With the ground.

First knees, then hands, and last, cheek.

I was doing something stupid yesterday. I was wearing boots and I was running uphill. I slipped on the gravel and fell.

Like I said, something stupid.

:-)

Elizabeth is captured by the oriental pirate Sao-Feng, while more problems surface and other rescues must be staged.

So says the current plot for Pirates 3.

Did people have fun in the snow?

Sister1 and I played a little, but let the others do the majority.

We all came in wet, but had had fun.

Bible Study has finished and all but Annie Laurie and parents have left.

I got to sit in.

:-)

That was pretty much a boring post...

So please answer the questions!

Branches and Books

What a surprise I had when I saw that I had three comments and all from the same family! Thanks to Gandalf and Dark Warrior for commenting and to Alothe for continuing to comment.

God has continued to preserve us from the fires!

Sister2, Sister4, and I hauled branches for almost two and a half hours this morning. Exhausting. Now almost all the trees in front of the shed are gone. *sigh* I liked them, but I would rather lose them and reduce the fire risk, than still have them and keep a great fire hazard.

You know, I wasn't going to make a post on the retreat because I thought everybody else would, but so far nobody has. Why not?

Sister1 and I have been hauling books out of our room up into the metal building.

Alothe, when do you want to trade cds? I mean temporarily swap Phantom and Narnia. Does Sunday the 15th work? Please just let me know!

:-)

God is great!

Thanks to the God of gods give ye, His mercy lasts forever!

Alothe, Sister1 is fine. Thank you for asking, though. I know those type of dreams.

The title? Today was an extremely high fire day, but God was merciful and spared us.

We took down the tree at my grandmother's house today.

We also had lunch there. We ordered Chinese.

Yum.

Had lots of fun and learned lots at the retreat.

Wish Missy, Merry, and Estella could have been there, though.

Went to the library today.

Discovered that my grandmother has a cast iron (I think) nutcracker in the shape of a dog. The tail moves up and down and opens the mouth. It's really cool!

My mom says that it used to be the door stop to her room.

Ok, I think I might go now.

Expect little, unevenly timed posts from now on.
